Hello Friends, I'm participating in Tea Talk today. To meet Ruth and see the other posts, click here.
I'm having a cup of milo that DH just made for me. We weren't home during the day today as we sang at a Nursing Home associaed with a hospital at our regional city about half an hour away this morning, and they give us a voucher to have lunch in the staff canteen. By the time we did some shopping and so forth, and I walked down town after we got back and paid some bills and sent my sister a birthday card, it is now after dinner, and finally I have turned on my PC. By the way, hubby decided to cook dinner too.
I see the drink is in one of my favourite mugs, it is a nice shape in a deep cerise colour.
I'm feeling very happy. My regular readers know that I have been worried about Hubby's throat lately, but he went well today, with last week being the fifth week of the month and no singing, obviously the rest he gave his voice was a help. We joined in prayer for him at our Bible Study meeting this week too.
Other things on my mind.... no worries, just the things on the rest of the week, tennis tomorrow morning, then singing at another Nursing Home over at Lismore again for their Happy Hour at 3.00pm. We've promised to join our RV chapter for the weekend. Somehow we have to get ourselves organised for that, but we wouldn't change a thing.
~CELEBRATION~
In times of exultation,
in simple, quiet moments, too-
I live in celebration, Lord,
because I live in you. (One Minute Devotions B.J.Hoff)
I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will
sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Psalm 104:33
This is where we are going this weekend.
Take care everyone, and have a lovely weekend. God Bless

This sounds so much fun! I am glad that your hubbys throat is better. What a ministry you have. I am planning on reading more tonight.
What a good husband the Lord has
blessed you with! He sounds very
much like my dear man. So glad
his throat is improving.
What a lovely spot to spend your
weekend!
God's Grace,
Sandy
That was very nice, have a great weekend too, that looks like a very beautiful place, where is it? You hubby sounds like mine, he often fixes dinner, and will not let me lift one finger. Hugs my friend, Barbara
Wow, you're a singing couple! It's nice to hear you're very happy today. Thank God for your husband's recovery. It looks like you are having a wonderful week. God bless you, Jan. Thank you for joining Tea Talk this week. Your site is a lovely place to visit. Thanks for sharing.
I love it that you and your hubby sing. My in-laws are in a choir that goes around to different centers and sings. It's funny to hear my FIL enjoy singing, because he can't really carry a tune. But it doesn't matter, he enjoys himself and is doing it for God's glory. I'm glad to hear that your husband's throat is getting better. I will be praying for him.
What a blessing you are to the fragile and frail elderly who don't get out much any more! Enjoy your week-end! That camping spot looks lovely!
Your sweet DH is a treasure, isn't he? So glad things are going well for you two...
So glad to hear your husband's throat is feeling better Jan. It sounds like he is a sweetheart. God has blessed you both ;-) Have fun over the weekend with your RV chapter. BTW, what is an RV chapter?
Enjoy your weekend away. Looks like a lovely place where you're going. =)
