FOR TODAY
Outside my window... a bright clear sunny hot day.
I am thinking... of the people of north east Qld with the monster, biggest ever cyclone Yasi forecast to cross the coast about midnight tonight. Many people have evacuated or bunkered down and the streets are deserted in the towns and cities in the path of the devastation.
I am thankful for... for our moderate climate, it may get a bit hot sometime, but it hardly ever gets windy or storms
From the kitchen... nearly time to think of our next meal... nothing exciting planned.
I am wearing... mid blue top and black gym pants
I am creating... nothing much... I don't think sorting out the household bills counts!
I am going... to the normal weekly events this week.... it is great to get back to routine
I am reading... a book my friend Val lent me when we were at Care&Share yesterday.
" from being abondoned as a small child and being taught by his environment to hate Christians, people, and God, he was able to turn his life around and see Jesus. Incredible evidence that Jesus is life-changing, and real, and the Savior." Link here including 'look inside the book'.

I am hoping... that everyone is safe in the path of the cyclone
I am hearing... the coverage about the cyclone on TV
Around the house... fairly tidy... we have visitors regularly on Tuesday (last) night so we usually vacuum and clean on Tuesday now.
One of my favorite things... having good freinds over
A few plans for the rest of the week... just routine the rest of this week.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
With love and blessing for a very pleasant week for you.

I am always thankful for normalcy. My prayers are with everyone in the path of the cyclone. Have a great day.
Always enjoy your daybook because it makes
me feel like we've had a little visit
together!
Love,
Sandy
My heart goes out to those in danger from the cyclone.
The book looks like an interesting read! =)
Hope you have a blessed week!
Wow--cyclones there and much snow over a good portion of the United States this week. Many have had way too much snow this year. I enjoyed driving home in the over cast warm and dry day here in Oregon. Thankful that I don't have to worry about my loved ones in ice and snow, but praying for the ones that are in the snow/icy/blizzard conditions. Love your new design! God's blessings and hugs!
Back into routine seems to help me get more things done.
I've been thinking of all the people in Queensland and saying a prayer. I'm glad you are not affected and am glad you are back into routine. Having a routine seems to give rhythmn and meaning to our lives ;-) Am back home now and mom is safely in nursing home. Please say a prayer for her that she will settle in and be comfortable. She is still getting adjusted as it is only her 3rd full day there.
