We are away for a few days.
Just have to say our thoughts and prayers with New Zealanders in the face of their devastating tragedy.
Azalea from my backyard... the bush is gnarled and old, but it surprises me with beautiful blooms.
CHERISH EVERY MOMENT BH Hoff
Teach me to cherish
every momentof my life...
to recognize the blessing
and the gift of the here and now,
instead of raing through my days
on the way to the future.
Encourage one another daily,
as long as it is called today.
Hebrews 3:13
Look forward to catching up next week. Take care and God Bless.
Love Jan.

God bless you Jan wonderful post today. I too have been praying for those in New Zealand. They were just starting to get back on their feet from the last Earthquake. I love the quote today. Blessings.

Well, where ever you all are going I
hope you are able to enjoy yourself.
Yes, prayers for the New Zealanders.
Your azaleas are beautiful and as
always I love the Hoff poetry.

Have a wonderful time. Our prayers are with those who are suffering.
What a gorgeous azalea! Yes, we too are thinking and praying for those in New Zealand. What a tragedy, but nothing has surprised our Heavenly Father! Have a good time away!
Jan, I join you in praying for those affected by the quake. Have a nice break. Look forward to hearing from you soon!
Yes thoughts and prayers for our New Zealand friends. My cousin is over there going to school but she decided to come home for a week for her son's 16 bddy. She was mid-air when the quake happened. Glad she missed it.
Hi Jan,
These are the words to New Zealand's national anthem (they have 2) It just rocked me the first time I read the words. This country was founded on The Faith.
Take good care,
Karen
(English version)
God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
Men of every creed and race,
Gather here before Thy face,
Asking Thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
And corruption guard our state,
Make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.
Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.
Let our love for Thee increase,
May Thy blessings never cease,
Give us plenty, give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame,
Guard our country's spotless name,
Crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.
May our mountains ever be
Freedom's ramparts on the sea,
Make us faithful unto Thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nations' van,
Preaching love and truth to man,
Working out Thy glorious plan,
God defend New Zealand.
Have a safe trip.
Such a lovely flower and sentiment...safe travels!
