Thanks to an email for the pic. Just a few thoughts late on Sunday evening.
A big thank you to people who follow and visit here, it is a real blessing that you are interested in my few words. I am a little behind with my blogging again, as I love to reply to all the comments and visit friends posts. I have drawn up a little weekly timetable to remind me to post and hope I don't let anyone down.
It was a quiet Sunday, fairly pleasant with a max of 31C, though some online friends (specially in Canada and UK) have said they would frizzle up at that temperature. I see it was supposed to rain, but that didn't happen.
We went to church and it was the first Sunday after everyone had settled into routine with school back and most people home from the holidays, so quite a crowd. The sermon was from Matthew 18: 7-14.
14Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
Afterwards at the cuppa we met up with the nephew and family of the friends we spent some time with a few weeks ago, he is a new teacher at the Christian school which is part of our church's ministry. Must admit they had the most gorgeous little baby and we were sitting where we could watch the dear little chap playing with his feet, and he didn't make a peep the whole time.
This week I have specially been in prayer for a very dear one who is suffering from depression.
Also our friend who comes over on Tuesday nights is having her operation tomorrow in Brisbane (about 3 hours away). Another friend we visited last Thursday is scheduled to get home from hospital tomorrow.

DH has asked me not to stay up too late as we have tennis at 8am tomorrow.

Glad you had a beautiful Sunday. I'm down with a head cold so not planning on passing it on to my Church friends. Even making dinner so I won't need to go out. My prayers are with your friends. Take care.
Jan it is always a pleasure to visit your
blog ~ Glad your Sunday is going well ~ and keeping your friends in my prayers ~ L enjoyed the Video Ally x
Your thankful heart and your lovely post about a relaxing Sunday are a blessing to me! May the Lord lift the depression from your friend! Have a great week!
Glad to hear from you Jan. It sounds like you are well organized about your blogging as you head into the future. I need to get into a better schedule but haven't had time to make one, lol. Or more accurately, I've been feeling sickly with a cold. Perhaps when I feel better I will feel more on top of things. I too would fry at 31C though you are probably used to it ;-)
This is a lovely video Jan. As usual I have a problem that shouldn't be spoken about. This video is good because I had a situation where my step-brother was ill. My mother has come to treasure him very much, and she was angry at me at first. Nearly lost it. Then waited quite awhile until she had composed herself before calling me again. So the song means that God wouldn't do that to me. I nearly cried. It is a lovely sounding song too, very moving.
HI jan, thanks for dropping by my blog..
This is truly an inspiration... all the best.
