TV tonight, just watched the Great Debate for the upcoming elections, between the PM and the Leader of Opposition, and now the final of Master Chef.... I saw in the Sunday paper they estimate it will be the largest audience for a non-sporting event recorded.
It was a gorgeous 'winter' day again today 20C, and it will be 10C overnight. We went to church this morning, picked up the paper on the way home and some bananas, and after a cooked lunch I finished a library book and Barry visited some friends.... a perfect Sunday.
We had the 'great banana mystery' yesterday. When we each used a banana in our breakfast, we were both sure that there were 4 or 5 left, so I didn't buy more on our trip to the supermarket. When we got home and added purchases to the fruit bowl...... no bananas....... I've been looking around the kitchen to see if they were put in the pantry, fridge or somewhere else in a 'senior moment'..... no luck yet.
I've just posted this week's Simple Joys here It is No. 11 in this series.
So, dear friends, have a blessed week. God Bless.

I love it,"The Great Banana Mystery!!!" wonder how that can be expanded upon? :) Should we call Miss Marple? Have a wonderful week! Cathy
Maybe a possum stole them.
Please let us know when the banana
mystery is solved! Now that's funny!
And we're just getting started with our Sunday! Sure hope the 'great banana mystery' will be solved! Sure wouldn't mind your winter days during our winters, lol!! Blessings for a lovely week ahead!
Banana mystery, lol you have a very blessed day my friend, and God bless you this Sonday real good. Hugs and blessings
We also have the great onion mystery at our house.. and sometimes bread too! ;)
After church yesterday we had ham and cheese crepe's with mocha cofee's at Panache Creperie (photo on Twitter update sidebar of my blog). Thanks for sharing what you did.. I often wonder about what people have for Sunday lunch.
It sounds like we did similar things.. we also had the debate on.. followed by of course, Masterchef! =)
Have a great week Jan =)

I had a good laugh about the great banana mystery. I hope there is a sequel ;-) Perfect days/weekends are to be savoured. So glad you are enjoying yours.
Now that is quite the contrast in the television viewing Jan. Which one was more entertaining .... I am leaning towards thinking it was probably Master Chef.
We have Master Chef in this Country too, although it's not airing at the moment. I like that programme. Last time a 14 yr old boy won it. I was so proud of him lol.
Oh, Jan...you have a banana bandit!
So ... did you find the bananas?? We are big banana eaters around here but I promise we are not responsible!
Blessings
Dorothy :)
