~ TODAY ~
Outside my window..... fine and dark as I start this at 5.30am Wednesday, though still Tuesday on the American continent. It is nearly 20C in my room, with no heating on. It is officially Winter now.
I am thinking...... actually I am chatting on Messenger with a friend in UK as I write.
I am thankful for..... the technology we have today.
From the kitchen..... next thing will be a nice cup of Milo when I get up at 7.00am
I am wearing.... nightwear.
I am creating.... a shortie cardigan. I started it last Saturday afterrnoon and only have one sleeve to go and I've already started casting on for that. I sewed up most of that I've done late last night.
I am going..... to Bible Study and singing at a Nursing home today..... and... tooo-raaah..... a family dance on Saturday night. I want to wear the cardigan as the old country halls can be draughty in Winter.
I am reading.... my Bible, but no books..... been knitting .
I am hearing ... the blip of Messenger as we chat... Sharon is here now too.
Around the house...... the new shelf in the kitchen at last.
One of my favourite things......... Orange Cake .... I got a recipe from BestRecipes to try, to take for supper on Saturday night (supper= cup of tea/coffee and snack at 10.30pm)
A few plans for the rest of the week..... finish the cardigan, tennis etc, only singing is this afternoon.
Here is a picture for thought I am sharing......
From our Beef Week Festivities last Saturday..... I have not had time to mention it up to now.... all that knitting.
Peggy is our host at The Simple Woman's Daybook, do join in.... post.... or read some of the contributions and leave a comment.... always fun.
Have a great week Everyone..... Blessings.

I wish I could sing! I think I love
music more than most people, have it
playing constantly, yet I can't sing
a note...at least not on key!!
I am working on my knitting though
and getting a bit better.
Love,
Sandy
Great post Jan, I ever so ejoy your blog, have a great day, lots of hugs Barbara
You sound very fast on the needles. Your main street is so much like ours, it would look like that covered with material for the cows.
