This bridge lifts to allow yachts to go further upriver to the City of Grafton.
Be sure to visit Susan here for Outdoor Wednesday, and here for Watery Wednesday."Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion

That water is such a deep blue and so inviting. Nice shots.
We have a suburb called Grafton here. And we have a bridge by that name too. Won't be surprise it is the same person they named them after.
Great shots of the water.
Happy OW

This bought back memories, haven't been to Grafton for many years either. The last time I was there it was festival time-very nice
Thanks for your interest and comments. This bridge was completed in 1966, and I remember crossing on the ferry. As it is the main highway, traffic used to back up quite a long way, and it was quite a wait.
Interesting draw bridge...I love the photo that you posted last...he's deep in thought I think.
