Tuesday 6th April 2010

 

~TODAY ~

Outside my window......it is cloudy, and a warm Autumn day 25C. We are wondering why the mandarins have all fallen off the fruit trees in the back garden. We have been away a bit over a week, and there are 100s of fruit on the ground.

I am thinking back ..... how nice it was to spend the day with my sister in Brisbane recently.... must catch up with her more often.

I am thankful for.... the lovely break away we had, getting home safely, that I heard from my family over Easter, friends we have spent time with, that we are well.

From the kitchen.... I made up some polenta for lunch, with steamed veges and fried onion and tomato.... I put some salsa and cheese on it to give it some flavour... I was apologising that I had made a dud, then found that it was delicious.

I am wearing a long sleeve shirt, one that my daughter gave me, and a pair of cotton slacks.

I am creating scarves and teddy bears....... I made some scarves for 'care and share' and DH wanted me to keep one that he particularly liked fro myself, so I started another one last night.

I am going to miss my 'Know your Bible' group as they are in recess for the school vacation.

I am reading my People's Friend magazine today..... they save me a copy at the newsagent and I collected it this morning.

I am hoping...... that I catch up with a friend that had a hip operation soon, she is away at her son's now.
I am praying....Ps:254-7..."Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God mt Saviour, and my hope is in you...."

I am hearing ..... the hum of the fridge and a dog barking up the street.

One of my favourite things.... I don't value objects much, so it has been hard to come up with an entry for this section.
A few plans for the rest of the week..... we get back to our concerts and a BBQ at friends on Sunday afternoon.
