We have a six or so differtent walks we take. One is to visit a very rare Sausage Tree in our town, in fact most locals don't know it is here. It has enormous flowers in October and the large fruit soon after. I though sausage tree was just a common name, but if we google 'sausage tree' we will get a number of links.
It is native to parts of Africa and the fruit is as large as my forearm.
