Walking group on Tuesday

It's walking group on Tuesday morning, and what a bright sunny day it is today, after the rain..... so refreshing to join our little group and walk and laugh and chat for 45 minutes.  We have a 'resident' historian Charlie, and he knows everything that is going on, and the history of every building in town.

We have a six or so differtent walks we take.   One is to visit a very rare  Sausage Tree in our town, in fact most locals don't know it is here. It has enormous flowers in October and the large fruit soon after.  I though sausage tree was just a common name, but if we google 'sausage tree' we will get a number of links.

It is native to parts of Africa and the fruit is as large as my forearm.
