FOR TODAY
I am thinking... about my eldest granddaughter.....it is her birthday she lives in the UK.
I am thankful for... so many things. We do have grateful hearts, it is our motto.
From the kitchen... We’ve just had fruit - mango, peach, banana, and yoghurt. We try to have our main meal in the middle of the day wherever possible.
I am wearing... A striped polo shirt and black slacks.
I am creating... my blogspot, I’ve seen a few others, with lovely backgrounds etc, and I just can’t see how to make mine more attractive. From the kitchen... We’ve just had fruit - mango, peach, banana, and yoghurt. We try to have our main meal in the middle of the day wherever possible.

I am going... to Church in the morning.
I am reading... Matthew Everingham, a First Fleeter and His Times, about my ancestor.
I am hoping... that we haven’t bitten off more than we can chew for next week.
I am hearing... Antiques Roadshow at the moment....LOL
Around the house.... I’m happy that I got quite a bit done today, just the usual chores.
One of my favourite things... I bought a few plants for the garden yesterday, another rosemary and a punnet of golden begonias.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Exercise class, Know Your Bible, Walking Group and then the concerts. Here is picture for thought I am sharing......

Welcome to blogging, Jan! And thank you so much for kindly following my blog.
When I started doing the Daybook, I was happily surprised how many comments it generated, so I expect that you will find the same.
My 3 sons are also scattered around the world: China, Mexico, and Canada's west coast, about 2800 KM from me! I'm so thankful for the internet or else it would be much more difficult (and expensive!).
Please don't fret about your blog's appearance, it's VERY pretty. The header and the saying about God's grace is beautiful! I also have a gardening/backyard homesteading blog that I am keeping simple looking (for now, although I love tweaking my blog designs). With your very busy life, a clean, simple look might be just the thing (smile).
Grace and peace to you,
Mrs. T (Wifely Pursuits blog)

Mrs T, thank you so much for your encouraging comment!!It is wonderful to find comments after my first day posting.
Yes, the internet is such a blessing for keeping up with family, my daughter lived in UK before all this was available, and it was a real heartache. They are about 900km away now so I do see them, but we can communicate every day on FB.
Thanks also for your kind comments about my site....when I wrote the Daybook post I only had the scribe template and had not figured out the sidebar! I imagine I will still change it a bit.
Blessings - Jan
