Click to listen to Australian Magpies.
When we got back to our town we had lunch with friends who travel with a large motorhome and 8 dogs to sheepdog trials and they are leaving early next week, so this is the last time we will see them for a few months.
This week has gone better than I thought, we’ve left our gear in our MV overnight, so we didn’t have to pack each morning, I just had to wash and iron our shirts ovenight. We have one more this week, from 4.30 to 6.30pm tomorrow Saturday, when people are sitting around waiting for the evening meal, at a working dog trials weekend on a private property. They have 200 dogs entered and we will do mainly country songs. They are donating the proceeds of the weekend to the hospital to go towards a piece of equipment that will save people with cancer from having to drive about 3 hours for treatment, so we are happy to help.
God’s Voice in Nature
On echoing mountains,
In Murmuring pines
By musical fountains
In whispering winds
We hear God’s voice.
The billows of ocean.
The flowers of earth
The planets in motion.
All life, death, and birth,
Bid man rejoice.

Love the poem and the Magpie
is magnificent. I am an avid
birdwatcher and I always enjoy
seeing a new bird.
