Six Words

NEW OUTFIT DECEMBER CONCERTS ..... HA HA

For the December Christmas concerts I wear a red shirt and white bottom half...  I went shopping today for a new outfit at our regional city, but I came back empty- handed!

All the white 3/4 pants I tried were very fitted, and tight right down the legs, not suitable for someone like me a bit wide in the beam!  And I did not see one suitable red shirt, a few clingy unsuitable ones, yes.

So I kept my money in my pocket and will make do with last year's model.

Thanks to Cate for hosting Six Words Saturday.

Hugs and Blessings, Jan

Sounds sensible to me. The clothing shops would go out of business if they had to rely on me for trade.

I can't tell you how many times I've gone searching for something new and come home empty handed!

If I look for something specific I never find it. You will find thousands next year.

Isn't that how life is??? Sometimes we just strike out. But ya know...I think you will look just fine in your last year's stuff...Just enjoy yourself and the concert immensely!

Happy Saturday!

I'm with you...I'm not enjoying this skinny pant phase. :(

Actually I've had the same red top and white skirt the last four years, but only wear them to the Christmas concerts. That is why I thought it was time for a fresh outfit.

Happy weekend!

I often go shopping with particular purchases in mind and come home with nothing!
Great to see you are in action again.

I always think that if you go out intent on buying a particular item then you never find them - but if you are just wandering around browsing you can always find lots of things to buy!

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
