Friday Fragments is a great idea to journal the bits and pieces from the week.
### On Saturday we picked our first two cobs of sweet corn and ate them raw right there, absolutely delicious.
### Sunday was Remembrance Day and I walked down town for the wreath-laying ceremony. It was awesome to see so many showing respect in suits with their medals, and especially the school children smart in their uniforms as they also went through the formalities and laid their wreaths.
### Monday we went to Glynnis' place to play a few songs with her as usual. Glynnis has two mandolins, which she plays by ear, Barry sings, so we don't lose our place, and plays guitar and mandolin, and I play ukulele. Glynnis has sent for a Medieval song book and CD by Allan Alexander, so I daresay we will be playing those soon.
### Wednesday the last bible study for the year and we went to the Golf Club for lunch to round off the year.
### Thursday another concert and we had some good chats with a few people including the Activities Officer.
### Today Friday was so hot, the hottest in the state at 37C, though not the hottest on record here which was 42.2C in 1995.
Also been having a bit of trouble with the computer very slow and sometimes no service, haven't been on as much as I would have liked.
See you at Mrs4444
Take care and have a lovely weekend!
Hugs and Blessings.

I would never think to eat uncooked corn! I like the sound of your Bible study group finishing out the season with lunch and a round of golf, sounds great to me!
My mama loved uncooked corn that she liked on harvesting days, too. The mandolin is a gift from God. Many years ago I had a friend who played the mandolin. Lovely sound.
I am glad you saw some great respect at the Remembrance Day ceremonies.
That mandolin music on the You Tube video is wonderful.
Sounds like you keep your selves VERY busy!!!
Wow! A busy week! Raw sweet corn sounds delish!
Celsius......we use Fahrenheit here. Our most recent hottest was something like 110F. It was super hot here this summer. But of course now it's getting cold and last night it was something like 34 Fahrenheit. Brrrrr.
Corn fresh off the stalk. Yummy.
glad you are staying busy. I am home and working on the house today so to ready it for our thanksgiving next week. I just need to get off my computer! HA! Enjoyed the music and updates. Hugs!
Sweet corn is out of season in Pennsylvania, USA. In fact, most of everything is out of season right now. I love garden fresh food.
Sounds like you live a very full life; I'm happy for you. It's great to "meet" you! Thanks for linking up :)
