Do hope you had a joyful and peaceful Christmas, and are looking forward to the coming year. A big "Hello" to all who drop in, especially regular readers and friends who comment. We had a lot on in December with family Christmas parties at the Homes etc, and I do hope to visit you more often and catch up.
We had a quiet Christmas day as we couldn't be with our children this year, (they are about 900km away and we will go later) and we did not accept other invites. We did a "Christmas Lunch" for some of our close friends on the Sunday before though, after church, which was very satisfying.
I really enjoyed the Carols by Candlelight on TV this year, (outdoor events in Sydney and Melbourne attended by many thousands) and was so pleased to hear the old Christmas hymns and even other 'religious' songs such as Josh Groban singing "You Raise me Up", and only very few secular and Santa songs. One that I always enjoy is the Halleluja Chorus, and here is a youtube with Andre Rieu.
It has been raining and raining with floods in a lot of areas, though not here so far, and we will be having a quiet week, which is very welcome, in fact I finished two of my Care and Share items last night, and I hope to finish the teddy bears sitting in my basket.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY -
IN HIM BJ Hoff
In His birth is all hope ....
In His way is alll light ....
In His Word is all truth ....
In His love is all life.
I am the way and the truth and the life. John 14:6

I love the Hallelujah Chorus and I'm so glad you had a quiet and enjoyable Christmas. I have had as well and will be going home in a few days after meeting some of mom's shopping needs.
Here is a youtube video I think you'll like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXh7JR9oKVE
