I turned the radio first thing this morning and the first thing I heard was this song. I had not heard it before, and it really touched me.
It is "What Colour is the Wind" by Charlie Landsborough. Barry has watched a number of his youtubes and I was impressed with his voice too.
We sang this morning, to a lovely audience here in our town. We have been featuring Australian songs this month, but it did not all go smoothly today, our harmony pedal went on the blink about half way through, but Barry was able to move the plugs here and there so we still had amplification, necessary with an electric guitar of course...... the audience didn't seem to mind, though of course we felt we weren't giving the best show we could, the harmony pedal makes it sound so good, with his voice x 5 in the choruses of the numbers.
This afternoon we collected his new hearing aids, and he is practising with them now, they seem to be going well, I don't know much about them, and they are digital, and he has another appointment in a couple of weeks to get them turned up a bit. He resisted getting them for such a long time, and now he is thrilled with them..... he has just walked past me, says he is going outside to listen to the birds..... Praise The Lord.
Reminds me of the verse:
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalm 91.4
Have a blessed week. Love, Jan

Hi Jan, I couldn't sleep so I got out of bed and am checking blogs. I loved the song you featured today. It suited me perfectly for right now. Very soothing and comforting. I am glad to hear that your husband is enjoying his new ear pieces and that he will once again be able to hear the beautiful sounds of nature. God bless. Hugs. xx
And a blessing tonight, Joyful, he has the TV at a normal level, and I can't hear it at all from the next room. Hope you got back to sleep.
Love, Jan xx
Oh that is good, love you dear sister and hope your Wednesday is a very blessed one, lots of love and hugs, Barbara
I really enjoyed this beautiful and tender
song. I've never heard of Charlie but his
voice is beautiful. He sounds a great deal
like Robin Mark to me. I don't know if you're
familiar with Robin's music. He's one I bet
you'd really enjoy. You and your hubby can
check him out on You Tube if interested.
Glad you were able to minister in song this
morning. I know hearts were touched for His
glory.
Love,
Sandy
Hi Jan,
thanks for stopping by. I've never heard of this singer. I'm so happy for your husband. I can just imagine his feelings now that he can hear the birds sing. I lived there for a few years and I have to say Australia has the most beautiful bird songs ever. Peace.

I wore hearing aids about 7 years ago. They have changed so much, that I wish I could afford to get them today.
