We arrived late in the afternoon.

Yes indeed, what a beautiful place .... where exactly is this Jan?

I had a lovely visit with my mum and brother yesterday in Victoria and although it was not the best of weather, a little rainy and foggy on the Malahat it was probably the best visit I had ever.

Talk soon, have a stellar weekend!

I'm a little jealous of these waterfront scenes. It would be nice to relax there for awhile and get out of the snowy mountains. (Not that I'm complaining mind you, but I do love water. Especially the unfrozen kind.)

Thank yoou everyone for your encouraging comments.

Sharon, to find Yamba, look at a map of the east cost of Australia, it is about an hour south of the most eastern point, Cape Byron.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Blessings, Jan

A town we should explore some more. We rarely travel this side of the river mouth.

I love Yamba, ever since I first visited with my family from Sydney when I was 14. We stayed there a few years ago in a cabin near the river. It was lovely.
