TODAY
Outside my window... Dark now, but it has been drizzling most of the day. I heard there is a flood warning for an inland town in our State, NSW.
I am thinking... Nice today..... we had two lots of friends drop in (not at the same time)... we love to see them and have a good chat
I am thankful for... the fellowship we have in this town at the places we go
From the kitchen... we will have fresh fruit and greek yoghurt soon.
I am wearing... still my walking clothes from this morning.
I am creating... order in the garden again, did quite a bit on Sunday afternoon, and planted a few rocket seedlings in some empty spots in the front garden yesterday...LOL.
I am going... singing, we will be going to Lismore the next three days, I was a bit surprised I thought it was two days, got up very early this morning to check.
I am reading... The Firstborn Advantage by Dr Kevin Leman. I don't remember if I've mentioned this before. It was surprising to recognise some of my traits in the book.
I am hoping... that this gentle rain continues, and it doesn't get heavier.
I am hearing... well, I've just muted the TV, an insight program is on, and I didn't like the lies the politician was saying.
Around the house... the washing is waiting for someone to fold it...LOL
One of my favorite things... Daffodils. They don't grow here, but I bought a bunch last week. They are still perfect.
A few plans for the rest of the week....Singing, tennis, a quiet weekend I think.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
With love and Blessings for a lovely week.

Oh, this is such a great post! You have such a great blog, very inspirational and motivational as well. I love the journal idea. I remember a journal my grandma faithfully wrote in every single day ... just a simple journal with simple writings, but how I wish I had it today for the simple things in our lives are actually the important things after all. Thank you SO much for what you do and thanks for visiting my blog.
Wonderful rain, yogurt and fruit,
reading a good book, visiting
friends and lovely flowers.
Such rich blessings! God is so
good to provide!
Have a great day in Him!
Love,
Sandy
Enjoyed your list...hope the weather stays calm...love the mute button!
Wonderful post, I also enjoyed your list. have a great week!
Hello Jan, Thank you for visiting my Blog. Its a great place to share and your Blog is full of insights into your world. You sound a lovely caring sharing lady. I have always enjoyed the area in which you reside. My daughter used to live at Firefly near Forster. I am originally from Horsley Park when it was a small country town in south western N.S.W. I nursed at Livepool Hospital and birth my four children at Fairfield Hospital. My elder sister and Aunt nursed in the Fairfield district. Now Qld is home. There's no place live Australia for an ozzie not matter what state you live in.
God Bless you. Have a wonderful day.
(I am a 40 plus)
It looks like we are sharing some rain. It has been so hot that I was happy to see the rain for a few days. It also helps with the over 400 fires that were burning around the province. The weather has cooled off considerably within a matter of days. Hopefully your rain will remain gentle :-)
I often wonder about first borns (I am one) but my eldest was actually the fourth after his step-brothers. Much more complicated these days.
It is a good time to be in the garden. I would love to be planting now but we go away for 3 weeks so I have to hold off until we return. I have a friend who lives in Northern Rivers (Modanville) she sings as well. You may know her... Penny B.
