Just a few random thoughts on Sunday morning.
# 1. 7.00am Sunday here and a calm beautiful gorgeous day coming up. I can hear the birds outside my window, giving thanks for another day.
# 2. Thoughts and prayers with our friend whose Mom was admitted to hospital.
# 3. A big thankyou to all with messages about my back. I'm not 100% yet. We missed tennis on Friday morning, Barry didn't want to go by himself, and an old-time dance last night
# 4. Just had a great chat with friends on Live Messenger. Whoever can meets at 1.00pm BC Canada time, 9.00pm London time and 6.00am (the next day) my time. Also a friend from Argentina some days.
# 5. I am so pleased we have this technology, and the opportunities that come with it, the door is open to the world and so much knowledge.
# 6. A nice quiet day at home today..... the lavender is coming out in my garden, and we are still picking mandarines, and lemonades, and the lime and lemon trees are loaded. We have been having a fresh lemon drink to start the day.
SPRINGTIME OF THE SOUL One minute devotions B J Hoff
Summer flowers
will vanish from the garden,
Autumn leaves will fall,
blown by the wind,
Winter's cold will come
and may seem endless....
But the Springtime of the soul will never end.
God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son. 1 John 5:11
Here is an old favourite from Hillsong. Hear our Praises.
Love and Blessings,

Hi Jan, I enjoyed the video. My speakers aren't too good so had to adjust for static but it was nice to hear the sweet voice of the lead singer. I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Mom's leg did nicely overnight but she will be kept in hospital for several day yet. Perhaps on Monday we will know more. God bless xx
Enjoyed your post and singing along with Hillsong! A time of refreshing and focus on praising the Lord for all things! Thanks for posting it!
Hi Jan - lovely thoughts. I pray you are feeling better soon.
Blessings,
Joan
Hello Jan; it is always so refreshing to read your posts on here, thank you some how just not seem to be adequate.
Saturday evening is coming to a close here on Vancouver Island and it has cooled down; just came in from a visit with Yvonne outside -- nice not to be complaining about how hot it is but tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 30's yet again.
I think my apples on the trees out front must be ready .... I really should pick those soon but I will wait until one drops to the ground first ... do not want to rush them.
Still trying to figure out what kind of bushes to plant but before I worry too much about those I had best get some dirt and plant my mint plants and my raspberry canes.
I am thinking of heading to bed and reading some more of my book that I am now half way through .... looking forward to meeting up with our friends again on Windows Live Chat. First though I have to go look at a golf cart that a lady is giving away. I don't golf but could get it for my son who does.
Life is so good having friends as dear as Jan.

I do hope your back is completely better soon...you are much too active a lady to have to endure that for very long...
I love the look and smell of lavender...and the citrus is wonderful, I am sure...
I can always picture the things
you write about in your posts.
I can almost smell the lavender
and mandarines. The music is of
course wonderful because it's
Hillsong! Praying for comfort
for your friend and healing for
their mom.
Hugs,
Sandy
Hi Jan Seems like you had a lovely weekend, although I do hope your back continues to improve. I picked a lovely big basket of Lemonades and while they don't have the niceset skins(to look at) they are filled with juicy goodness.
