GREAT CLIMATE FOR OUTDOORS
There was a time not long ago that we had a day out with friends with our kayaks every week, (apart from having a week away every month or so) but that is on hold now with Barry's poor health Photos from my kayak, on the Richmond River, then up a side creek.
Our friends in a double kayak
Barry up ahead, both of us in Hobies.
Thankful for our retirement life.

MY INDOOR CAT, TANSY
For years I was against having a cat, as I was put off by neighbouring cats that invaded our yard, ate the birds especially blue wrens, and messed in my garden beds.
However a year ago a friend was hand raising four tiny kittens from a few days old, and as we were around there every week practicing for a concert, I was tempted and adopted a little female, I had been watching sites for a rescue dog about four years old that would sit on my knee, and am so thankful that I got a lovely intelligent, cuddly cat instead.
Pics in chronological order.

I bought the carrier before we picked her up, and she loves it as a favourite spot too.
Tansy in her cat tent, her first time camping. This was just for part of the day, and she was inside the RV with me at night.
Curtains taken down after this, or replaced with cafe curtains, looks a bit odd !
..
We held a basket up for her to step into to get down,
More camping, on her harness
Tansy knocks down the Christmas Tree, but of course the dog did it.
New spot for tree, baubles out of reach and Tansy fascinated with a lagerphone

Something interesting in here
Tansy and Sky spend a lot of time together.
Tansy and her new cat tree, she loved the box it came in too.

LIFE A LITTLE QUIETER
We are not getting around as much as usual, as Barry has a debilitating conditon that is giving him a lot pain. It actually started back in May, and he stuck it our for a while but now having Bowen Therapy and trips to the doctor whilst trying to sort out the medication etc. We missed out on a Christmas in July last night and there have been some other attractions that we would have attended.
We have cancelled our Aged Care concerts, but still able to play in church for the mid-week service, etc, and continue with our Music with Friends Strumalong which is two Saturdays a month. Our offshoot group from that, Silver Strings is participating in a concert soon.
Barry has been so overwhelmed by my help, and thankful that I am staying well, that he has kept fresh flowers in the house for weeks now.

THIS TIME LAST YEAR
My birthday coming up again soon, and I just noticed the pics from last year. We went to look at a new campsite, and to visit friends that were staying there for a few days. On the mighty Clarence, and we did go there a couple of times, but it is about two hours away and not as appealing as our favourite haunt.
No plans yet for this year as we will be preparing for a concert the next day.
