BLUE MONDAY

 

I made these little guys (15 inches tall) over January while we were aaway, I like to knit while we travel, then I am a more relaxed passenger.   

I will hand them in tomorrow at our "Care and Share" group, and they will be sent to Missions without Borders, destination Eastern Europe. I make beanies and scarves too.  It is nice to have someone to knit for, as I don't need anything myself.  

I wouldn't try to knit for my family either.... I remember a lovely school jumper I made my son, and he lost it as quickly as he could, bought ones were more desirable....LOL.

I am seeing... A fine day at last... temp 26C  - 79F.... perfect!
I am hearing... mid morning sounds of life at home in a country town.
I am smelling...  breezy fresh air.
I tasted.... my new favourite dessert... homemade orange impossible pie.
