MT LINDESAY HIGHWAY

Had to stop for a shot of Mt Lindesay on our way home from the Rathdowney Heritage Festival recently. It was a clear sunny day, ideal temperature.

A couple of kms further along, I could not resist this converted church.

"Praise the Lord, Give thanks to the Lord for He is good; His love endures forever." Psalm 106:1

Joining in at Skywatch Friday and Scenic Sunday

All the best for a satisfying weekend.
Many blessings, Jan

I absolutely adore the tranquility and serenity that I feel is captured in the second picture of the homestead. Just makes a person feel so good and so safe. To me a step back into a quieter and safer time. They say a picture says a thousand words; I believe I could write a short story all about the generations of the family living in this home (all in my imagination, of course. Not to mention the past church congregations. I am already thinking of the old widower with the limp and the long grey beard, lol Thank you Jan -- lovely start to the weekend.

That second shot is particularly "Australiana" Jan, and I agree with Sharon's comments above! Thanks for sharing your journey and may you have a blessed weekend. (Thanks for visiting my blog)

"Had to stop . . ." made me laugh. So many times like that I had to stop. Just another reason to say God is good.
