At the end of a busy week that included home renovation of finishing off installing double glass doors from the dining room to the deck (Barry) and cleaning up and making the the heavy curtains (me).
However, it has not been all work, as we attended an inspiring ukulele workshop last night in Bangalow with Ralph Shaw a Canadian. He has a blog and has been writing about his time in Australia.
Then tonight we are going to a St Patricks Eve workshop and music session at Kyogle, and it has been well publicised and I expect it will be well patronised.
Then we have a visitor over the weekend, and are taking her to a Senior Citizens lunch where our good friends The Messengers are entertaining. Then on Monday we have been booked to entertain at a Senior Citizen Week event at Kyogle.
So I will take this opportunity to wish a Happy St Patricks Day to all who are interested in Irish heritage!!!!
Just mentioning too, my friend Sharon from Canada is now posting "Global Express" news from friends from various corners of our global village on blogspot. If you have a few moments, you are welcome to browse and join us.
With love and blessings, Jan

Hi this is Jan's friend, Sharon, from the Great White North, popping in to say thank you to Jan for mentioning Global Express and to extend my personal invitation to each of you to come and have a relaxing read through the various issues. The newsletter is published weekly and if you wish to submit anything to be published in it I would be happy to include it -- stories, pictures, recipes -- anything. The purpose of the newsletter is to celebrate friendship in a positive caring and sharing way.
Jan you indeed have had a most busy week as always and one of my favourite blogs to visit is always "A Tapestry of Life".
I wish you a fabulous weekend and look forward to chatting soon on Windows Live.
Sharon with love and hugs and blessings

We know of several other clubs, and there are a lot of resources online.... Here is a link to one our club uses a lot, 996 songs and most have a link to the youtube in the same key so we can play along ... or try... LOL
