 TODAY
Outside my window...  the sun is just up, another glorious day on the way, 26C expected and it is the first day of Spring here in Australia.
I am thinking... I've just had a wonderful chat with Sharon on Windows Live.
I am thankful ... that we can reach around the world on our computers
From the kitchen... Barry just brought me a lovely hot cup of Milo.
I am wearing... Nightwear..... I'm still in bed on my laptop.
I am creating... I am passionate about my garden at the moment.... I've made a major attack on the weeds, and I even planted red and green lettuce alternately in the gaps in my cottage garden at the front ..... LOL.
I am going... to Bible Study this morning, then the tip with our green waste.

I am reading... Max Lucado.... I've joined his community too.  Another book I read from the library this week that I really enjoyed is Always  and Forever by Cathy Kelly... in the style of Maeve Binchly
I am hoping... to do more in the garden this week.
I am hearing... Barry playing an Irish tune on the mandolin - Hills on Connemara.  It is 7.15am and all is well.
Around the house... so many little birds singing outside... I often marvel that they have survived the urban (country town) environment.  We've seen a lot of wrens lately, I love watching them out the kitchen window.
One of my favorite things...  perfect opening to say blue wrens!!

A few plans for the rest of the week:  a quietish week, will get to tennis on Friday.... main project is to take the green waste to the tip, and there will be a few loads.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing...  another family photo when son was celebrating his birthday.  Even though family so far away, with the help of all the technology nowadays, we can still share our lives.  Son is so thankful and excited that he is seeing his daughter regularly now.

Son, daughter-in-law, one of my grandaughters

Have a Blessed week, Friends.

Happy Spring, Jan!! I am awaiting
autumn here. I love mandolin music and
wrens. They make me happy. I also love
the writings of Max Lucado. My favorite
book by Max will always be No Wonder
They Call Him The Savior. It's an old
one. Have you read it?
Love,
Sandy

Glad you are enjoying the start of your new season. After months of unrelenting heat we are at last getting coolish weather and it really rained today. Tomorrow it is supposed to be nice and sunny and I will get out to the amusement park with a friend. Thanks for featuring Max Lucado. I've never read his books but after looking on the community, I think I really want to read his new one. Happy week to you!

Hi Jan, I missed realizing that it was Spring in Australia now ...... that is fabulous and no better way to celebrate it that working in your garden. Be sure to put things in to attract butterflies! As you know I have to work all weekend so I will not be able to be in chat and that is a pity as I love our visits. Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you are better soon.
