Happy to report the doctor was delighted with Barry's condition at his follow-up appointment at John Flynn Hospital this week. We made a weekend of it and freecamped at a popular spot.
On Sunday morning we joined Lynn with the Worship and Praise at Nimbin.
Barry sang the offering solo, There is a River, and I made my first public appearance, in the background, with the ukulele.
This week we have our concerts, all going well.
Also I would like to mention Shelfari, would love to link up with any friends, or encourage friends to join. I was active there a few years ago, and came back to it recently. It can be a bit offputting at first to find that it goes through Amazon, but that is actually a plus, as now most books are available to add to our shelves, rather than often having to create a new record for the book we have read or plan to read.
This morning when I looked at the group, I was reminded that I had booked a particular item from the library, and had forgotten about it, so if we enter what is going on, we can be reminded of what we have read, or plan to read, as well as getting ideas from others. My page is here.
I also started a little group,Online Friends and Books There are groups available to suit all tastes.
Thanks for reading.Love and Blessings,
Jan

Good to hear Barry had a good report. Interesting to see inside the old Nimbin church again after so many years. The walls have been painted differently and the floor looks to be polished but the Roll of Honour remains the same.
Good to hear you are keeping busy Jan. It's great to hear that Barry had a good medical check up also.
Blessings.
Thanks for updates and glad Barry is better and you are staying busy. I am still busy but loving it and sharing some fun with family. Unfortunately I need to go to a funeral on Sat. Oh well, life goes on for the rest of us and we need to just love those that need it right now in the painful loss of a son. At least they know there's heaven on the other side of this life! Hugs!
Good to read Barry is improving. And thanks for that Gaither clip. I love their music. Such an inspiration. xx
Hi, I just love this time of year, and love your blog too, sorry I have not been around much, trying to get back into the swing of blogging again, and visiting all my favorite blogs too. Have a great Saturday, and such a beautiful fall day here in Georgia. Added you to my favorites too so I can easily find you. Hugs my friend.
Glad to read your thoughts on the church. We enjoy our trip to Nimbin, including a good coffee at The Rainbow Cafe on arrival!
Thanks for all your comments.
Love and Blessings,
Jan
