A big Welcome to new Readers.
It just seems so busy lately, we did five concerts this past two weeks and have had so much else on as well. Highlights were "Women Alive" in town yesterday, and Voices of Praise today.
Trying to keep up with the vegetable garden too, and the weeds have slowed down as it has been dry recently. I have started a couple more beds and need to think about what I am planting soon for Spring. We had a glorious winter day of 26C or approx 79F during the week, before it cooled down again. I grabbed the camera for a quick pic after I cleared up after lunch outdoors. Bit hard to see Tilda tucked up with Barry, she was 12 years old on 17th August.
We are spending more time on music too, having a couple of regular times that we meet up with others to play, as well as the group meetings.
I also celebrated my birthday recently and Barry came up with the idea of a hardcase for my uke, very much appreciated.
I have been buying sheet music that downloads immediately (for the harp) from Musicnotes, and can thoroughly recommend the site.
Just got this one - In the Garden, an old hymn sung by Jim Reeves

Good to hear from you again. Happy Birthday, belatedly! I have been so busy this past week I've not had time to blog. Worked on photos for a photo cd of work I did on Sat. Turned that in to group I did work for. Never a dual moment, it seems. Take care and enjoy!
Lovely to see you again. Sounds like you've been having a nice and fruitful time Jan.
At first I didn't think I knew that song, but as soon as I heard it, it brought back many fond memories..I love it!
You almost see the 1950's when you listen to the beautiful words. Happy Birthday Jan, and many more. xxx
You have been very busy with your concerts.. I don't know how we ever did so much when we were young, do you? xx
I had a link to Blogger Templates posted by Amanda Anderson here and it opened about 20 times on my computer and took ages to get rid of... I don't know yet if there is other damage. Do not post again!
