I am joining in with Charlotte and Ginger again today for Spiritual Sunday, and invite you to visit them, and the other participants, here.
It was a lovely surprise and very exciting to see 100 listed in my Followers File, and to see that number 100 is Charlotte..... what a blessing and encouragement. Welcome, and welcome and thankyou to all who take the time to read my posts.
I hardly looked at the computer all week. I have been overwhelmed making a banner for a friend who ministers through her gospel music. Somehow it took a lot longer than previous ones I have made, the material more delicate and more detail. I am not trained in sewing at all, and perhaps the years are catching up as well. DH took quite an interest too, and helped with measuring etc.
Of course the big news is the horrific situation in Japan, and my heart goes out to them, apart from the losses, the threat of the meltdown at the nuclear plants adding to their nightmare. We did not have the TV on for a couple of days so initially missed it, but caught up with it today.
We sang twice this week, including an early St Patricks Concert. Apart from that nothing unusual, except that we went to see The Kings Speech this evening, as some internet friends have mentioned it and recommended it, and it was great to see that such a simple story, with limited budget has done so well and is so enjoyable.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Stepping Stones BJ Hoff
God makes stepping-stones of all our days
to guide us on life's pathway.
When we would stand where we are,
in the safety of this hour,
He bids us move, step out, and follow Him.
I run in the path of your commands,
for you have set my heart free. Psalm 119:32
I'll try to get around some other posts now, then get started on my bible study homework, we are still in Isaiah.
Love and Blessings,
Jan

The banner you made is really nice. It looks like it's pretty large. Hope you have a blessed Sunday and congrats on your 100 followers.
The banner you made is beautiful!
You have been working hard! That banner looks excellent. Not that I sew, but I know how hard that slippery material is to work with. Thanks for the beautiful son on the video! Have a great week ahead full of His abundant blessings!
Your banner is absolutely lovely and will be a great addition to your friend's concerts. A big congratulations to you on your 100th follower :-)
The banner is really beautiful. I'm sure
your friend will be pleased.
Another great poem from B.J. Hoff and
a real favorite from Hillsong.
Hope your week is lovely.
Love & Prayers,
Sandy
How sweet that your husband helped you with this beautiful banner. This song is so pretty,thank-you for sharing it today. I hope you enjoy your Bible study.
God Bless,
Ginger
So glad to find you via Spiritual Sundays. Love that site. I see you are a BSF study member. So am I. Loving this Isaiah study! My 5 year old son is doing it with me, also. He is learning so much.
Blessings to you,
Haelie

Hi! It was a pleasant surprise to find you on my comments. Thank you. I like your background. And, as I was scrolling down, I saw my blog post on your sidebar. Thanks again. It feels good to be blogging again. Beautiful (And true) banner. World news is sobering, isn't it? My heart stands still about Japan. ... See you 'round.
Great banner. I'm glad you saw the movie, I loved it too.
Jan!
I have missed you. I am having server issues tonight (but at least I'm back online. YEA!)... so this has to be brief. Will catch up more later. Thanks so much for your visit. I loved hearing from you. Lots and lots of craziness here (workmen are everywhere), but nothing compares to the ordeal in Japan and also in New Zealand. I feel terrible for everyone. I hope and pray that the people in both places are protected and that the Lord comforts them. I want to scoop them all up and bring them home. So I pray because I know the other is impossible. Besides, God is a wonderful comforter.
Love your banner. It's lovely and so is the song from Hillsong.
Love to you!
XO,
Sheila :-)
I was so pleased to be #100. It was sweet of you to mention it in this post. The banner is beautiful. I think you did a great job. I'm not a real movie fan, but did see The King's Speech and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing again with us on Spiritual Sundays.
Blessings,
#100
Hello Jan, Your banner is so greaT!!!!!I love them. Japan has been on all our hearts, thise poor people, you wonder how this will end for them? Love "I give you my heart" a wonderful song!! It brings you so close to the Lords love. If you ever go to Hills, the huge photos in the lobby of Brian and Bobby are by my daughter Femia.. She now lives here on the Sunshine Coast, but her hubby David was Darlene's lead guitar. Have a great week. xxxx
I'm yet to see The King's Speech. Although I am looking forward to seeing it. As it usually happens at our house I never get there to see it & I then manage to catch up with movies on dvd.
